IT Support Technician

Summary The Part-Time IT Support Technician provides administrative, documentation, and operational support to the IT Support Services organization. The role is responsible for maintaining and improving team documentation, assisting with process transitions, supporting departmental initiatives, and performing a variety of administrative and project-related tasks. The successful candidate will be adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of supporting multiple workstreams in a dynamic environment. Job Classification Hourly Non-exempt Duties and Functions Update, organize, and maintain IT Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process documentation, and knowledge base content. Assist with transition activities, including documentation reviews, knowledge capture, and process standardization efforts. Support administrative functions such as data collection, reporting, and document management. Maintain and organize team SharePoint sites, file repositories, and other documentation resources. Assist with tracking action items, project tasks, and departmental initiatives. Prepare and update reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and other business documents. Collaborate with team members to identify process improvement opportunities and ensure documentation accuracy. Provide general operational support to the IT Support Services organization as assigned. Other duties as they arise. Education and Experience (Required) High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred Requirements Experience with administrative, documentation, operational support, or related work preferred. No specific certifications required. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities (KSA) Knowledge — Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint. Skill —Strong organizational and time management skills; excellent written communication and documentation skills; strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability —Ability to work independently, manage priorities effectively, support multiple workstreams, collaborate with team members, and adapt to changing business needs. Supervisory Responsibilities No supervisory responsibilities. None. Work Environment/Condition Part-time position with flexible weekly hours based on business needs and candidate availability. Work is performed in a standard office and/or approved remote work environment using computers and other standard office equipment.
