Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Embark on a fulfilling opportunity supporting students’ success in an educational environment near Bend, OR. This contract position is ideal for a talented occupational therapist seeking a full-time role (40 hours per week) for the upcoming academic year, with the contract running 189 days and starting August 24, 2026.

In this role, you’ll assess and provide both direct and consultative OT services for students across seven counties. Your impact will be seen in developing and implementing individualized programs, training school staff, and promoting educational access and participation for students with diverse needs. You’ll select, evaluate, and monitor adaptive equipment to support students in their learning environments and, as necessary, provide supervision and guidance to therapy assistants.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an Occupational Therapist
• Experience delivering school-based OT services preferred
• Strong knowledge of educational access and participation strategies
• Skills in evaluating, recommending, and monitoring adaptive equipment
• Ability to effectively collaborate with educators, families, and multi-disciplinary teams
• Capacity to mentor and supervise OT assistants, when needed
• Effective communicator, organized, and adaptable to work across several school sites

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct OT assessments for students as identified
• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans and goals
• Provide direct and indirect therapy sessions in accordance with IEPs
• Consult and train teachers and staff regarding interventions and assistive strategies
• Document services and progress in compliance with school and state requirements
• Supervise therapy assistants as part of collaborative service delivery
• Travel as required between sites in the designated region
