Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and tailor appropriate treatment approaches. \n
- Design, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and overall mental well-being. \n
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate patient healing. \n
- Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients in processing trauma, enhancing coping strategies, and promoting transformative healing experiences. \n
- Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other professionals to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to patient care. \n
- Deliver immediate crisis intervention and support for patients undergoing trauma-related emergencies. \n
- Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources to support ongoing recovery. \n
- Maintain confidential and accurate documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems proficiently. \n
- Engage in case consultations, participate in team meetings, and contribute to professional development activities focused on trauma-informed care practices. \n
- Stay current with emerging research and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance care delivery. \n
The primary client focus of this role includes individuals of all ages who have experienced trauma, including children, adolescents, and adults. In our practice, each therapist is trained to understand the nuanced impacts of trauma on mental health, enabling them to meet patients where they are in their healing journey. Our goal is to not only assist them in processing their trauma but also empower them to build resilience and thrive in their daily lives.
Qualifications\n- \n
- Education: Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- Licensure: Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California. \n
- Skill Set: Exceptional understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities, along with strong interpersonal and communication abilities. \n
- Ability to maintain calm and composure in high-stress situations, and work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. \n
- \n
- At least 2 years of post-licensure experience providing mental health counseling in a clinical setting, with a focus on trauma. \n
- Experience working with various demographics, including children and families. \n
- Proficiency in EHR systems and a strong familiarity with telehealth platforms. \n
The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer.
