Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:00) | 36/48-hour alternating weekly schedule or straight 48s; expected 84 hours biweekly

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced ER environment
• Perform thorough patient assessments, triage, and ongoing monitoring throughout the care continuum
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC electronic health records
• Respond effectively to high-acuity and trauma cases, applying evidence-based clinical judgment

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in-hand prior to start
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room experience; candidates with 2 years of experience must have background in a high-volume or trauma facility
• 3 years of ER experience preferred; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Must be available to complete required lab/compliance items within 72 hours of accepting an offer, or have a documented plan in place within that timeframe

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3 or more years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Experience in a high-volume or trauma-designated facility
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
