Overview Position: Physical Therapist Assistant – Outpatient Orthopedics Location: Punta Gorda, FL 33950 Schedule: Monday – Friday Pay: Starting at $27+/hr, based on experience Incentives: $12,000 sign-on bonus + $200/month student loan repayment Join Our Team at Select Physical Therapy! Our outpatient center in Punta Gorda is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing team. You will work alongside two PT and one OT, treating primarily orthopedic cases with opportunities in vestibular rehab, sports medicine, industrial therapy, fall prevention, and ACL programs. New grads and experienced PTAs, welcome! Responsibilities Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act. Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
