Overview The Oncology Sales Specialist is a key member of the customer–facing organization responsible for partnering with healthcare providers and systems to educate and support the adoption of our leading immunotherapy products. The role is field‑based and covers the Ann Arbor Territory, including Ann Arbor, Royal Oak, Southfield, Commerce, Dearborn, Monroe, and Garden City. General Responsibilities Demonstrate deep knowledge of product value and effectively position our brand versus competitors in informed discussions with healthcare professionals. Act as the primary point of contact for customers and meet key stakeholders to understand practice structure, business model, and decision‑making influencers. Apply oncology expertise: understand cancer staging, treatment options, dosing schedules, clinical trials, and their impact on patient outcomes. Analyze trends in a complex buying environment, including drug distribution channels, oncology GPOs, wholesalers, and specialty pharmacies. Develop short‑ and long‑term account plans, collaborating with the account team and Customer Team Leader to execute the strategy. Share best practices across customers and influence beyond geographic or product boundaries through strategic questioning and tailored solutions. Collaborate with the integrated "in‑scope" customer team (Key Account Manager, Nurse Educator, Field Reimbursement Associate, Medicare Account Executive, etc.) to provide a consistent customer experience. Qualifications Minimum: Bachelor’s degree with 6–8 years of sales experience or high school diploma with 10+ years of equivalent experience. Minimum of 2 years of oncology field sales experience (or equivalent professional sales, healthcare/scientific, marketing, or military experience). Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for travel. Proven strong performance in sales, marketing, or clinical roles. Quarterly travel required, with overnight stays as needed. Preferred: Clinical oncology experience across multiple solid tumors (including urology or hematology) and documented success in oncology clinical sales. Required knowledge/skills: oncology, oncology sales, pharmaceutical sales, and sales account management. Salary and Benefits Salary range: $156,900.00 – $247,000.00 (plus annual bonus and long‑term incentive if applicable). Travel Requirements Approximately 25% travel, including overnight trips for customer engagements and national sales meetings or industry conferences. Travel frequency varies based on location.
