Tool & Die Machinist

Responsible for the repair and maintenance of dies for a safe, clean, productive and economical operation that fully supports press production. Duties Repair and maintain production and stamping dies Experience working with large progressive, transfer and deep draw dies Ability to Tig weld Rework of damaged components in a timely manner Maintain a clean and safe workplace Coordinate with manufacturing the dies to be repaired Troubleshoot problems to determine solutions Follow standard work and training for all work activities Adhere to all Safety and Quality policies and procedures Ability to lift/push/pull/ up to 50lbs occasionally Ability to walk/stand/crouch/bend constantly throughout assigned shift Must have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels and departments in the Production floor Skills and Qualifications High School diploma or GED, required Completion of a four-year Tool and Die Apprenticeship Program, required Knowledge and ability to work with high strength steel Automotive Stamping experience a plus Job Type: Full-time Salary: $20.00 - $33.00 per hour Schedule: 8 hour shiftEvening shift Monday to FridayNight shift #J-18808-Ljbffr AtWork Group
