Staff Accountant

Nederlander is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual for the full-time position of Staff Accountant to work in Los Angeles Office located in the Hollywood Pantages Theatre Position Summary: The Staff Accountant duties will include account reconciliations as well as other accounts receivable and accounts payable related tasks. This position will report directly to the Controller of Broadway in Hollywood. Our ideal candidate is proficient in Microsoft Excel, has a strong knowledge of accounting principles. Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm Reports To: Controller Salary: $55,000 to $70,000, depending on experience Requirements: BA in Accounting/Finance preferred 2-4 years of experience in bookkeeping and/or accounts payable/receivable and/or general ledger accounting MS Office experience – strong Excel skills NetSuite Accounting System experience and proficiency preferred Ability to multitask Excellent organizational skills Self-motivated Strong Work Ethic – eagerness to learn and grow within the Company Responsibilities: Reconcile and maintain bank reconciliations Perform balance sheet accounts analysis Post daily/weekly incoming check/wire/ACH payments (including inter-company payments) Create show/events on NetSuite and update accordingly Research and track credit card chargebacks Reconcile box office/subscription/Ticketmaster sales and record the journal entries in the general ledger Download and maintain various financial reports (ie: Parking/Square/Flex Spending) Assist with special projects as needed We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome all to apply.
