Supervise assigned crewmembers during the preflight, en‑route flight and post flight. Conduct and supervise training of crewmembers in general operating procedures required by the Flight Operations Manual. Counsel crewmembers as necessary and advise the Chief Pilot of any abnormalities, which could affect safety. Ensure the aircraft is properly secured when away from home base. Make the decision to continue or divert a flight and upon completion of the respective flight, notify the Chief Pilot and/or Scheduler/Dispatcher of the change. Ensure compliance with customs, immigration and cabotage laws. Ensure the aircraft has been released for service by the maintenance facility and all discrepancies are cleared per the minimum equipment list on the discrepancy form. Coordinate with the Chief of Maintenance to rectify any maintenance problems. Understand the role of Flight Operations in the context of Marketing and Sales. Conduct unrestricted worldwide flying operations. Participate at main airshows and events. Answer performance questions on the appropriate assigned aircraft for Sales. Acquire a second type rating on company product. Acquire 500 cumulative flying hours on company product. Attend Bombardier Safety Standdown. Qualifications FAA ATP Certificate FAA First Class Medical Certificate FCC Radio Permit Total Flight Time of at least 3500 hours Multi‑engine Turbine of at least 1500 hours Ability for unrestricted world‑wide travel (including but not limited to up‑to‑date immunizations/vaccinations). Interpersonal skills necessary to develop and maintain effective working relationships with employees, customers, all levels of management team, and other departments. Computer skills necessary to learn and/or operate iPad, email, and web‑based applications. Planning and organization skills necessary to plan, prioritize and coordinate workload. Must be able to work in an environment subject to varying climatic conditions and varying levels of cabin pressurization. Must be able to work duty days, which may extend up to 16 hours, and cross as many as 12 time zones. Must be prepared to deploy for up to 16 days. Willing to work flexible and changing schedules. Experience as a CFI/MEI or equivalent (e.g. ex‑military instructor) – preferred. International flying experience – preferred. Transport Canada ATPL – preferred. Transport Canada Category 1 Medical – preferred. A type rating in a Bombardier aircraft (3500/6500/7500) – preferred. Previous Demo Pilot experience with Bombardier or competitor – preferred.
