This opportunity is ideal for a fellowship-trained neonatologist who is comfortable managing a high-acuity NICU environment and providing overnight in-house call coverage. The provider will work within a collaborative neonatal care team in a busy tertiary-level NICU setting. Position Details Facility Level: Level III NICU Shift Type: I n-house call coverage Shift Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Weekend Requirements: Required (7 PM – 7 AM in-house coverage) On-Call Requirements: In-house overnight call Clinical Responsibilities Provide in-house neonatal intensive care coverage during night shifts Manage critically ill newborns in a Level III NICU setting Respond to neonatal emergencies and deliveries as needed Oversee stabilization and ongoing care of premature and high-risk infants Collaborate with NICU nurses, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary care teams Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system Qualifications MD or DO required Board Certified in Neonatology required Fellowship-trained in Neonatology required Active Michigan medical license required Current BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications required AAS
