The Opportunity

Were recruiting for a Warehouse Supervisor to join a growing US distributor of professional AV and audio products.

This is a hands-on position responsible for supporting the day-to-day running of the warehouse, supervising warehouse personnel and ensuring products are received, stored, organised and dispatched accurately and efficiently.

The business is also looking to improve and standardise its operational processes, making this a great opportunity for someone who enjoys identifying practical improvements and helping introduce more effective ways of working. This will require managing 3 warehouses situated across the US and so regular travel is to be expected.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day warehouse activities and personnel.
• Oversee receiving, storage, organisation, picking and dispatch of inventory.
• Help maintain accurate inventory and effective stock control.
• Coordinate warehouse workloads and daily priorities.
• Ensure warehouse procedures are consistently followed.
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency and processes.
• Support the introduction of improved and more digital warehouse procedures.
• Work closely with internal teams to meet operational requirements.
• Support logistics and transportation activities where required.

What Were Looking For

• Previous experience within warehouse or distribution operations.
• Experience supervising warehouse personnel.
• Strong understanding of receiving, storage, inventory and dispatch processes.
• Experience with inventory management and stock control.
• A hands-on, practical approach to operational problem-solving.
• Experience working with warehouse systems and processes.
• Ability to organise, train and support warehouse employees.
• Strong attention to accuracy, process and operational efficiency.
• Experience improving warehouse procedures or introducing new ways of working would be beneficial.
• Professional AV, audio, video, technical product or related distribution experience would be advantageous.
