As an RN or LPN in our long-term care and rehabilitation healthcare facility, you will deliver direct nursing care to residents while overseeing nursing assistants' daily activities. You will work within a small multidisciplinary team and report directly to the Nurse Manager through the Charge Nurse. This role involves a range of duties including patient assessment, medication administration, documentation, and family communication across varied shifts including days, nights, and weekends. 1/2 shifts are available.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient medical history and record vital signs accurately
• Administer prescribed medications, injections, and wound care
• Monitor patient conditions, including fluid intake/output, and maintain detailed charts
• Collect lab samples as assigned
• Provide emotional and psychological support to patients
• Communicate with patients’ families to provide updates and guidance
• Supervise and support nursing assistants in daily care tasks
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards

Required Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) diploma or degree
• Current Tennessee nursing license (LPN or RN)
• Current CPR Certification (BLS Provider)

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of nursing experience in a long-term nursing center
• Strong skills in patient assessment, medication administration, and charting
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
• Team collaboration and time management skills
