Security Officer / Bouncer

Pay: $17–$22 per hour (depending on experience and assignment)
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Event-Based
License: Virginia DCJS preferred

Job Overview

Guarded Solutions LLC is currently hiring professional and dependable Security Officers/Bouncers in the Lynchburg, Virginia area. We are looking for individuals who can maintain a safe environment while providing excellent customer service and professionalism at all times.

Positions may include bar/club security, event security, residential communities, commercial properties, and access control assignments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises and maintain a secure environment

• Control access points and check IDs when required

• De-escalate conflicts and handle disturbances professionally

• Patrol assigned areas on foot or in a vehicle

• Complete incident reports and daily activity logs

• Enforce property rules and company policies

• Provide a visible security presence for clients and guests

• Respond quickly to emergencies and suspicious activity

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Reliable transportation required

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Ability to stand for extended periods

• Must be professional, dependable, and able to work weekends/nights if needed

• Virginia DCJS certification preferred but not required for all positions

• Previous security, military, law enforcement, or bouncer experience is a plus
