Ignition Specialist (PLC)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Ignition Specialist (PLC) to design, develop, integrate, and commission enterprise-level SCADA and automation systems for industrial and mission-critical projects.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Ignition SCADA applications using Perspective, Vision, UDTs, Tags, Templates, Alarms, Historian, and Reporting.
Perform Python/Jython scripting and SQL database integration.
Integrate Ignition with PLCs using OPC UA, Modbus TCP/IP, EtherNet/IP, and BACnet/IP.
Program and troubleshoot Rockwell ControlLogix, CompactLogix, and PlantPAx systems.
Support commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, and system optimization.
Collaborate with customers, engineers, and field teams.

Requirements

8–10+ years of SCADA/industrial automation experience.
Strong hands-on Inductive Automation Ignition experience.
PLC programming experience, preferably Rockwell.
Strong SQL, Python/Jython, industrial networking, and commissioning skills.
Data center or mission-critical project experience is a plus.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
