Our patients primarily include infants with hyperbilirubinemia, post-op tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy cases, and low-acuity respiratory conditions. During periods of low census, Pediatric RNs may also care for post-op GYN and mother/baby patients—offering variety and expanded experience.How you'll contributeA Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errorsAbility to formulate an individualized plan of care, revise plan as indicated by the patient's response to treatment, and evaluate overall plan daily for effectivenessMonitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, provider, patient and family following chain of command as appropriateCollaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needsEvaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition and circumstances.Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient protecting the patient's rights.Why join usWe believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins.
