Temporary Technician Position Details Posting Number: G/R24605P Title: Temporary Technician Department: VPR-Savannah River Ecology Lab Employment Type: Employee Schedule: Mon‑Fri 8am‑5pm Start Date: 03/04/2024 Posting Date: 02/13/2024 Closing Date: Open Until Filled Location: Athens Area Duties / Responsibilities Perform prescribed fire duties including preparation, ignition, monitoring, holding, and mop‑up. Perform work related to preparation of prescribed fire activities, including fuel monitoring. Minimum Qualifications Field and laboratory duties to support research in Aubrey laboratory. Physical Demands Lift or move up to 50 lbs.
