As a Security Officer Full Time Reception Security in Glenshaw, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will welcome students, staff, visitors, and guests while maintaining a professional, service-focused presence. You will support access control, communicate clearly, observe activity at the entrance, and respond to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Staff the front desk, greet and screen visitors, verify identification, issue visitor passes, and direct guests to appropriate school offices or locations.
• Monitor entry activity, maintain visitor and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to school personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by maintaining awareness of front-desk activity and reporting suspicious or unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
