Associate Attorney – Glendale, CA We are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our team in Glendale, CA. Compensation The base salary range for this position is $120,000‑$140,000 per year, plus applicable bonus. Responsibilities Communicate effectively and appropriately with team members and outside parties Draft, review, and file legal pleadings, motions, discovery, and related documents for active litigation files Review litigation case files and pleadings to determine appropriate action Advocate on behalf of the client’s interests in various litigation settings Update and document the status of each account in the assigned inventory using internal proprietary software Analyze and process litigation inventory reports and files to ensure proper workflow per firm and client expectations Comply with all client and firm standard operating procedures Travel to various courtrooms within the branch office footprint as required Prepare for and represent clients at hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials, including case strategy development, drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and presenting oral arguments Negotiate settlements with consumers and their legal representatives to resolve disputes efficiently while protecting client interests Evaluate case merits, assess risk exposure, and provide strategic legal recommendations Maintain compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and court procedures Perform other duties as assigned Requirements Admitted to practice law and in good standing in California Strong organizational and time‑management skills Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Highly motivated self‑starter Eagerness to learn Ability to manage and prioritize a large caseload Effective verbal communication in a common language with individuals or groups Ability to operate a computer, phone, or equivalent device Commitment to a minimum 40‑hour flexible workweek schedule Ability to read and comprehend position‑specific documents and correspondence Preferred Qualifications Minimum one year of litigation/trial experience Working knowledge of civil procedure Debt collection experience Prior experience in a high‑volume environment Physical Qualifications Be able to lift five pounds or greater Be able to sit 90% of the workday at times Be able to bend at the waist and be mobile when needed Be able to concentrate and use critical thinking Benefits This is a full‑time, full‑benefit position.
