Estimated average annual travel is typically 10%.In this role, you will enjoy: • Being part of a team of highly motivated professionals• Direct impact on satisfying customer requirements• Communicate with our customers, supporting our commercial team in trade shows and conferences• Influence over product development• Exposure to all functions of the membrane business• Ability to seek additional responsibilities and grow as an EngineerKey Job Responsibilities:• Aspen heat & material balance simulations for new and existing customers to enable them to use our membrane products in a safe and efficient way• Evaluation of new application inquiries to determine accurate membrane product fit• Participate in, and eventually lead, Research and Development programs for new applications and new products• Support of P&ID development, Operability Reviews and Hazard Reviews• Troubleshooting and assistance to help customers resolve product performance issues• Training of customers in the safe installation and operation of membranes• On-site service support to customers with existing membrane systems• Investigation of product failures to assess customer warranty claims• Be a technical resource to the business and product development team for future product improvements• Conduct performance tests on product improvements and incorporate into new product specificationsMinimum Hiring Requirements:• A Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering is required• Membrane systems and/or gases processing experience is preferred but is not required• A valid driver’s license and a good driving record are required#INDGIG#LI-Onsite #LI-CH1Join Air Products, where we proudly value the skills, dedication, and leadership that Veterans bring to the table.
