Job Summary:
The region is Honolulu, Hawaii. This position is for an Inpatient Occupational Therapist at a healthcare facility. The role involves evaluating and providing occupational therapy services to patients in an acute care setting. Candidates are required to bring their current license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shift hours, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Graduate from an American Council on Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) accredited Occupational Therapy program; current Hawaii State license as an Occupational Therapist; current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Healthcare Provider (HCP) certification; two (2) or more years of full-time staff experience as an Occupational Therapist in an inpatient/acute care setting (not including travel assignments); experience in comparable size/type medical center(s) (500+ beds, Level 1 Trauma Center) highly preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center or large medical center preferred.
• Additional Information: Compliance must be completed no later than 10 days prior to the contract start date. Failure to meet this requirement will delay the start or result in contract cancellation. Candidates must submit a current NURSYS report. If nursing assistance is needed on their assigned unit, the Occupational Therapist may be assigned to roles such as nursing assistant or safety sitter.
