Position Summary

McClintock Electric is seeking a motivated and dependable Apprentice Electrician to join our growing team. This position is ideal for individuals looking to build a career in the electrical trade while gaining hands-on experience under the supervision of licensed electricians. The Apprentice Electrician will assist with residential, commercial, and industrial electrical installations, maintenance, and repair projects while learning industry standards and safety practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed electricians with electrical installations and repairs.
• Pull wire, bend conduit, install fixtures, outlets, switches, and electrical panels.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and project specifications.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment.
• Follow all OSHA and company safety regulations.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems under supervision.
• Load and unload materials and organize job sites.
• Attend required apprenticeship classes and training programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by project supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Enrollment in, or willingness to enroll in, a state-approved electrical apprenticeship program.
• Basic knowledge of electrical tools and construction practices preferred.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work in various environments.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
