Responsibilities Accurately checks patient’s blood sugar and documents results as ordered (all values are correctly reported to attending nurse). Obtains vital signs appropriately based on patient’s age and condition. Reports abnormal findings immediately to attending or charge nurse. Coordinates care with other health professionals. Provides appropriate treatment in emergency situations as they arise (i.e. codes, patient falls). Notifies nurse of changes in patient’s condition. Performs related duties as required. Qualifications Required: Education: High school diploma or equivalent required Licensure/Certification: American Heart Association BLS CPR certification required.
