You must be currently enrolled in Pharmacy school.Benefits of working at Woodmark of NY:Full Benefits Package - Medical, Dental, Vision, Life401(k) with company matchRecognition Program with points to redeem for prizes and gift cardsCompetitive PayWeekly PaycheckSolid Team AtmospherePharmacy Intern Position Overview:Pharmacy Intern team members are primarily responsible for receiving and inputting medication orders into computer via fax or phone from facilities under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.ResponsibilitiesPharmacy Intern Responsibilities:Demonstrate a complete working knowledge of the pharmacy software package.Print labels and delivery sheets to allow technicians to fill orders.Check final prepared medications for accuracy under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.Provide drug information in an easily understood manner as requested by facility staff.Research and clarify medication orders that are incomplete or unclear.QualificationsPharmacy Intern Qualifications:• Currently enrolled in an accredited pharmacy program to become a licensed Pharmacist • Registration with the Board of Pharmacy as required by individual stateThis position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors.
