AM shift LVN at small SNF (Skilled Nursing Facility)

Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in a non-profit Skilled Nursing Facility with a high nurse-to-patient ratio. The Company Meadowbrook Village Christian Retirement Community is a non-profit organization in Escondido that opened in 2009 with the mission to "honor God by serving others with love and compassion." We are licensed as a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) and offer independent, assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing services. Our 19-bed skilled nursing facility opened in 2017. Shift Availability Full-time position. 7AM - 7PM (AM shift). This is a temporary (approx. 3 months) position that may become a permanent position. Job Description We're looking for individuals who take joy in providing excellent, personalized care for those struggling with a temporary set-back or a terminal diagnosis. Our team of LVNs, along with our CNAs and RNs, seek not only accurate medical care but also enriching personal interactions for our patients in our Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). Patients and their families often comment that they love our staff's friendliness and dedication -- and we're looking for more people who share that mindset. The LVNs will be responsible for ensuring high-quality resident care by following federal, state, and company regulations/policies, directing and documenting nursing duties, monitoring and reviewing care plans and procedures, reporting to the Director of Nursing, and leading by positive example.
