\nRole Description The Litigation Associate will handle a variety of litigation tasks, including drafting motions and pleadings, conducting legal research, preparing discovery responses, and assisting with depositions and court appearances. Responsibilities include analyzing case files, developing case strategies with senior attorneys, communicating with clients and opposing counsel, and managing deadlines and court filings. The associate will prepare for hearings, trials, and settlement negotiations, and support the team with written advocacy and evidentiary review. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Paducah, KY, with a mix of in-office work and some work-from-home flexibility.
\nQualifications

- Strong foundation in Law, with knowledge of civil litigation procedures and applicable rules \n
- Experience drafting Motions and pleadings, including dispositive and procedural filings \n
- Proficiency in legal Research, including case law, statutes, regulations, and secondary sources \n
- Exposure to Depositions and discovery practice, including preparation of outlines and review of transcripts \n
- Familiarity with Courts processes, local rules, and electronic filing systems \n
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar admission or eligibility to obtain bar admission in Kentucky \n
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and organization \n
- Ability to manage multiple matters, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment \n
