Scientist, DMPK (BioAnalytical and Medical Writing)

Cogent Biosciences seeks a scientist to develop and execute LC-MS/MS bioanalytical methods for drug quantitation in preclinical studies. The role involves method development, routine analysis, instrument maintenance, and technical writing support within the drug discovery group.
Responsibilities
- Develop and validate LC-MS/MS methods to quantitate small molecules in biological matrices
- Conduct routine bioanalytical analyses and deliver quality data to project teams
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair LC-MS/MS instruments and associated software
- Support technical writing and quality control for preclinical ADME regulatory submissions
- Maintain accurate laboratory records and communicate results via documentation
Requirements
- BA/BS with 10+ years or MS with 8+ years in pharmaceutical or biotech analytical work
- Expertise in LC-MS/MS method development and small molecule quantitation
- Strong knowledge of LC-MS/MS instrumentation troubleshooting and maintenance
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and multitask in fast-paced environment
- Scientific knowledge of quantitative bioanalysis and sample preparation
Compensation: $115,000-$130,000 base plus 10-15% target bonus
