Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Weekends Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-risk perinatal care in a Level III unit encompassing labor and delivery, antepartum, postpartum, triage, and OR settings
• Maintain staffing ratios of 1:1 in labor, 1:2–3 in antepartum, and 1:3 couplets in postpartum with CNA support
• Float to postpartum as needed to support unit staffing requirements
• Perform and document sterile vaginal exams ( SVE competency required ) as part of routine patient assessment
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including delivering providers, CRNAs, surgical techs, CNAs, and health unit coordinators available 24/7
• Complete charting accurately and in a timely manner using EPIC

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Required certifications: BCLS , ACLS , NRP , and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring or Relias Fetal Monitoring
• Demonstrated sterile vaginal exam (SVE) competency — hard requirement
• Must commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a facility managing 200 or more deliveries per year; candidates from facilities handling 100–200 deliveries will also be considered
• Familiarity with high-risk perinatal care environments including antepartum and triage settings
• Prior travel nursing experience with demonstrated schedule flexibility
