Occupational Therapist (OT)Occupational Therapist (OT) Rate: $50/hour Shift: Per-Diem Schedule: DaysTaconic Rehabilitation & Nursing at Beacon is looking to add an Occupational Therapist (OT) to its rehabilitation team. In this role, you'll evaluate residents, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapy services that help residents regain independence, improve daily living skills, and achieve their highest level of function. Join us and become part of a team where compassion, excellence, and meaningful work come together every day.Responsibilities:Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plansProvide skilled therapy services focused on improving functional abilities, ADLs, mobility, and quality of lifeEstablish short- and long-term rehabilitation goals and monitor resident progressCollaborate with physicians, nursing staff, families, and interdisciplinary team members to support resident outcomesSupervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in accordance with state regulationsComplete all required documentation, assessments, care plans, and billing records accurately and timelyProvide resident and family education regarding therapy goals, adaptive equipment, and home exercise programsRecommend and coordinate adaptive equipment and durable medical equipment (DME) needsParticipate in care conferences, discharge planning, staff education, and quality improvement initiativesPerform additional duties as assignedRequirements:Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program approved by the American Occupational Therapy AssociationValid New York State Occupational Therapist License requiredNewly licensed Occupational Therapists encouraged to applySkilled nursing facility experience preferredStrong clinical, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary healthcare teamCommitment to resident-centered care and rehabilitation excellenceBenefits:Paid Time Off (PTO) for Full-Time and Part-TimeWeekly or Same-Day Pay OptionsHealth, Dental, and Vision InsuranceLife InsuranceEmployee Referral Bonus ProgramRetirement Saving Options
