Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Dental Office Treatment Coordinator / Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. This vital role bridges clinical excellence with exceptional patient communication, ensuring every patient enjoys a seamless, comfortable, and positive experience from front desk to chairside.

Key Responsibilities

• Chairside & Clinical Support: Assist Dr. Kaplan during a wide variety of procedures (general, restorative, prosthodontic, endodontic, and pediatric dentistry) using four-handed techniques.
• Advanced Imaging & Safety: Operate modern dental imaging equipment—including 3D scanners and digital X-rays—while strictly maintaining OSHA-mandated sterilization, infection control, and aseptic protocols.
• Patient Education & Care: Guide patients through treatment plans, post-operative care, and preventive dentistry best practices, answering questions with clarity, warmth, and professionalism.
• Treatment Coordination & Workflow: Manage appointment scheduling, financial treatment planning, and follow-up communications to optimize daily clinic operations and patient satisfaction.
• EHR & Administration: Maintain accurate digital patient records using EHR/practice management software (such as Eaglesoft) while strictly complying with HIPAA regulations, dental coding, and billing documentation.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with fellow team members to foster a positive, supportive, and efficient workspace focused on superior patient care.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Verifiable dental office experience required, with hands-on background in chairside assisting and patient communication.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong familiarity with dental EMR/practice management systems (Eaglesoft preferred).
• Clinical Knowledge: Solid understanding of dental terminology, modern equipment, infection control, and safety protocols.
• Compliance: Thorough understanding of HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and medical documentation.
