About the Behavior Technician Role

Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, the Behavior Technician or ABA Therapist role provides 1-to-1 Applied Behavioral Analysis services to children diagnosed with Autism (ASD). Therapy sessions usually run 3-4 hours and primarily take place during after school hours in the client's home, community, and/or at our center. Our team focuses on assigning cases as locally as possible (usually within 30 minutes) to your home address or regular school/other work location. Travel time pay and mileage reimbursements are available (when applicable).

Behavior Technician Responsibilities

• Manage 1 to 1 ABA Services for Kids with Autism Spectrum Disorders
• Work under the Supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst
• Run Regular Sessions (About 2-5 Hours)
• Flexible Hours/Custom Scheduling
• Work in Home, Center, and/or Community Settings -Depends on Client's Needs
• Working with Families for Effective Collaboration
• Submitting All Required Paperwork in a Timely Manner
• Electronic Data Collection
• Implementing Individualized Behavior Support Plans
• Implementing Skill Acquisition Programs

Behavior Technician Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
• Valid Driver's License (Required)
• Friendly, Energetic, and Enjoys Working with Individuals with Special Needs
• Experience Working with Children
• Ability to Attend an Initial Orientation
• Timely and Organized
• Ability to Work Independently
• Proven Ability to Communicate Effectively within a Variety of Situations
