Day shift: 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical/Surgical Telemetry. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in various skills and have prior experience in charge nursing roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in accordance with established standards and practices.
• Monitor patient conditions and make critical decisions regarding care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
• Assist in procedural interventions as required.
• Handle patient transfers and the discharge process efficiently.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of previous charge experience in an acute care or telemetry setting.
• Current RN license (Compact license preferred).
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Experience using the Epic charting system is required.
