Business Controller-Acquisitions

Overview Your role: The Business Controller – Acquisitions will be a key partner supporting the VP, Business Controller with analysis and will be responsible for the financial reporting and integration of acquired entities. You will be responsible for the financial integration and reporting of acquired entities, including: Responsibilities Support the due diligence process Set up reporting to meet Atlas Copco standards and be responsible for the monthly reporting (mapping trial balance to Atlas Copco accounts as well as sales/cost reporting by products) Support the acquired entities in all business control functions until integrated into the SAP ERP system Balance sheet reconciliation of acquired entities Support integration of ERP system to Atlas Copco ERP, particularly full reconciliation in the finance area Establish and maintain effective internal controls Follow up on the business and support the integration managers with analysis & reports as needed Be an integral part of the Business Control and Accounting team to ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual reporting. Participate in monthly tasks not related to the acquisition as required Work as a team to fill in gaps and/or backup as needed Support the VP, Business Controller in some business analysis as needed (modeling, adhoc analysis, concept analysis) Support testing of reporting changes or process improvement within the ERP system or within the organization Contribute to positive Company branding by projecting a knowledgeable, professional, and customer-oriented image to customers Perform all duties in accordance with Atlas Copco standards, while always striving to understand the needs and expectations of customers Take whatever action is appropriate and required to get the job done and to establish and maintain communications with all people/employees considered necessary to get the job done Requirements Experience: 5-10 years of accounting experience and a good knowledge of MS Office applications. SAP experience will be an added advantage. Education: Associates and/or University Degree with emphasis in accounting.
