Registered Nurse (Emergency Room / ER)

Location: Hyannis, Massachusetts
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Schedule: 3x12 Hour Shifts
Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Every Other Weekend + Rotating Holidays

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a high-acuity emergency department assignment. The RN will provide fast-paced emergency care, assess and stabilize patients, administer treatments, and support critical care interventions while maintaining excellent patient care standards.

Required Qualifications
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Minimum 2 years of recent ER RN experience
• At least 1 year of ER travel experience
• Active Massachusetts RN License required
• Current BLS Certification required
• Current ACLS Certification required
• Strong IV therapy, IV start, and telemetry monitoring skills
• Ability to pass Pharmacology and Basic Arrhythmia exams
• Strong English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
• TNCC Certification preferred
• ENPC Certification preferred
• PALS Certification preferred
• De-escalation certification training preferred
• Ventilator care experience preferred
• Charge nurse or leadership experience preferred

Key Responsibilities
• Provide emergency nursing care using the nursing process
• Assess patients physically, psychologically, and socially
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses
• Perform IV insertion, wound care, and emergency interventions
• Document all patient care accurately and timely
• Assist in discharge planning and patient education
• Support ancillary staff in patient care delivery
• Function as charge nurse when required
• Maintain compliance with hospital safety standards
• Deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced ED environment
