Job Description
Requirements:


- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in nursing (Experience and National certifications may be considered in place of the bachelor's degree upon approval, with a commitment to obtain a bachelor's degree within 3 years of hire)
- Current RN license
- Healthcare Provider (HCP) CPR, CNOR, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
- Minimum of 5 years of hospital nursing experience
- 3 years of OR experience required
- Proficiency in word processing and internet use
- Ability to type a minimum speed of 45 WPM accurately

Roles & Responsibilities:


- Provide education and instruction focused on clinical staff within a healthcare facility
- Act as a resource regarding healthcare education and training programs
- Support the development of education in collaboration with department managers and clinical nurse coordinators
- Utilize simulation training and software for educational purposes
- Work closely with the Quality Management team to promote continuous improvement across the system
- Evaluate educational programs and participant learning, implementing changes as needed
- Maintain patient confidentiality and handle information appropriately
- Foster a sense of teamwork and cooperation among staff through effective communication and support
