Locums | CRNA | Rochester, MI (MI license required) Why This Role

• No call, no weekends
• 8 or 10-hour day shifts
• Medical direction model: 1 MDA to 4 CRNAs
• New grads accepted
• Modern hospital, transitioning to Epic in June 2026
Assignment Details
• Start: ASAP, ongoing
• Schedule: 8 or 10-hour day shifts, no call
• Setting: Hospital-based, 180 beds, 11 ORs, Level 3 trauma
• Surgical volume: ~35 cases/day
• Supervision: 1 MDA to 4 CRNAs
• OR support: RNs and scrub techs
• Patient population: mostly adult and geriatric (minimal peds)
• Documentation: Paper (transitioning to Epic June 2026)
• Credentialing: ~90-120 days (temporary privileges requested)
Clinical Details
• Broad case mix: cardiovascular, vascular, neuro, general, ENT (limited peds), urology, ortho, robotic, colorectal, podiatry, plastics
• Out-of-department coverage: non-invasive cardiology, OB, endoscopy, radiology (CT and MRI)
• Required cases: general surgical (adult), obstetrical, neurosurgical
• Additional skills: arterial line insertion, IV insertions, floor intubations
• General, regional, and MAC anesthesia
• Pre-anesthesia assessments, intraoperative monitoring, post-anesthesia care
Requirements
• CRNA, NBCRNA certified
• Active MI license (license-in-process accepted per medical bylaws)
• BLS, ACLS required; PALS preferred
• Clean background
Compensation
• Rate negotiable, open to your number
• Malpractice provided
• Travel reimbursed (mileage not covered)
