Energy Trading Relationship Manager – USD 125k base
Global cutting-edge, AI-driven data management, analytics, and portfolio optimization software house specialised in the energy and commodity trading markets seeks a dynamic Relationship Manager to manage and grow their portfolio of US Tier 1 energy trading clients, driving revenue and ensuring long-term customer satisfaction.
You’ll join a very successful and growing cloud-native business, who have 3 complimentary industry leading software solutions. The company has a very impressive list of tier one energy trading clients and very strong financial backing, so this is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic Relationship Manager keen to join and grow with the business, taking on more clients, more responsibilities.
The successful Relationship Manager can be based from anywhere in the US, although preferably in Houston, Dallas, New York or Chicago where most of their current clients are based.This is a hybrid working role though, so you can work remotely but there is a need to travel and meet key client face-to-face to manage and develop relationships.
Working with some of the largest global energy / commodity trading businesses, you’ll need to be comfortable presenting to and engaging with C-level executives. This is not a delivery role, but you will need a good understanding of the energy trading markets, so you can speak credibly with demanding clients.
Salary: Flexible but circa $125k basic + 30% bonus + benefits
Key skills and experience sought:
- 5 years (ideally more) experience working in a similar relationship management position working with Saas and ideally specifically energy / commodity trading clients
- Strong understanding of client business objectives, industry trends, and technical/operational workflows.
- Proven ability to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within Tier 1 accounts.
- Bright, degree educated
- US Citizen or hold a visa allowing you to live and work in the US without any sponsorship
