Job Description \n First Connect Health is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Bismarck, North Dakota. Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care \n Discipline: RN \n Start Date: 10/05/2026 \n Duration: 13 weeks \n 48 hours per week \n Shift: 12 hours, days, nights \n Employment Type: Travel \n \n \n NICU RN – Level III NICU \n Level III NICU with 22 beds and an open-bed concept. Patient population includes premature infants (23 weeks), RDS, SGA, IUGR, hypoglycemia, hyperbilirubinemia, and other intermediate to critical neonatal cases. Nurses care for intubated infants and patients on bubble CPAP, manage central lines and TPN, and must be comfortable titrating drips. \n Requirements: \n \n 2 years of NICU RN experience \n Level III–IV NICU experience preferred \n BLS and NRP required \n Must be able to titrate drips \n NICU RNs attend deliveries under 36 weeks and assist with APGARs \n \n Schedule: \n \n Days: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM \n Nights: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM \n D/N rotation may be available based on unit needs \n Manager to make schedule \n Every other weekend or every 3rd weekend \n 2 holidays per year \n No call/standby \n 2 shifts of unit-specific orientation \n Hospital-provided scrubs \n \n Floating: May float to Newborn Nursery and Pediatrics as appropriate; otherwise, may assist as a helping hand. \n Important: 50-mile radius rule applies. Candidates cannot be currently working full-time, part-time, or PRN with any CommonSpirit-affiliated facility, including CHI and/or Dignity. RTO must be submitted upfront and is limited to 7 days or less per 13-week contract.
