Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Schenectady, NY

Make a meaningful impact working with students as a contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) for the 2026-2027 school year. Key Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required Active New York SLP license TSHH or TSSLD certification (DOE) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Previous experience in school-based settings highly valued Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities Role Highlights: Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy to K-12 students Manage a caseload of approximately 40-50 students in a school environment Complete evaluations, develop IEP goals, and maintain up-to-date documentation and progress reports Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to tailor services for each student Provide training or resources for staff and families to support student communication needs Maintain professional compliance with all local, state, and federal requirements This contract position offers a consistent weekly schedule at 32.5 hours per week, giving you the work-life balance to enjoy both professional fulfillment and personal time.
