We are a manufacturing company based in Newington, Connecticut that specializes in tube bending and precision machining. EDCO Engineering offers its Aerospace Tube Bender Fabricator a competitive salary, a comprehensive benefits package and the opportunity for challenging work with the ability to grow in a clean, team-based, professional environment. Job Requirements
- Sets up and operates various sizes of CNC tube benders to bend different size tubes to required shape.
- Trims and end forms per technical requirements.
- Maintains a strong understanding of 3D geometry.
- Performs measurement of part quality using precision measurement equipment/devices and continually monitors themselves while running production, to ensure the quality of all parts in the area conform to all requirements.
- Detects equipment malfunctions or out of tolerance machining and adjusts machine, within capabilities, controls or control media as required to ensure quality of production.
- Reports all machine malfunctions to immediate supervisor.
- Completes paperwork and logs production as required.
- Communicates with supervisor, engineers, production control, quality and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues.
- Responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly and perform basic preventative maintenance functions on equipment.
Our work week is M-Th 6am-4:30pm & as needed Fridays 6am-12pm (6h OT) or 6am-4:30pm (10h OT)
