Maintenance Assistant

Assists the Maintenance Department in keeping the buildings and grounds clean and healthy according to safety standards. Salary Range: $19.00 Hourly Responsibilities Assists in the interior and exterior janitorial needs, building maintenance, and ground keeping assignments. Assists with the planting, pruning, fertilizing, and transplanting of flowers, shrubs, trees, and bushes. Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Employee may perform other related duties as needed to meet the ongoing needs of the organization. This position is primarily custodial. Skills & Competencies Ability to properly use cleaning products and equipment Capable of following verbal and written instructions Ability to read and understand labels and directions Proficient in the use of computer software such as MSWord, Excel and Outlook, etc. Education Requirements High school graduate or equivalent.
