Radiology - Echo / Cardiac Sonographer

Echocardiology Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5 PM. No on-call or weekend shifts required.

The Echocardiology Technologist will be responsible for performing echocardiograms and providing high-quality imaging results. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in starting their own IVs for contrast studies and experience with various echocardiographic modalities.

Responsibilities:

• Perform 2-D Echo, 3-D Echo, and Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE).
• Conduct pharmacologic stress echo tests and treadmill stress echo procedures.
• Utilize color Doppler imaging and contrast agents for precise diagnostics.
• Maintain patient comfort and safety during procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in echocardiology.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Certification from ARDMS or CCI required.
• Proficient in using Epic for charting is necessary.
