Peoplelink Staffing, in partnership with a prominent business in the Itawamba C County MS area is seeking a Welder to join their team! This customer is offering a wide range of perks such as full benefits, 401K, and profit sharing! This is a direct hire opportunity.


Welder Job Summary:
• Pay: pay will depend on experience
• Shifts Available:

o 1st shift Monday-Saturday 6am-until, OT required


Qualifications

• Perform MIG and Flux Core welding on carbon steel and other metals.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.
• Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Measure, cut, fit, and assemble metal components to required specifications.
• Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and structural integrity.
• Operate grinders, cutting torches, and other fabrication equipment as needed.
• Perform repairs and rework on welded assemblies when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures.
• Meet production goals and quality standards.
• Assist with other fabrication and manufacturing duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous MIG and Flux Core welding experience required.
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols.
• Experience using tape measures, squares, and other precision measuring tools.
• Knowledge of welding procedures, materials, and fabrication techniques.
• Ability to pass a weld test and physical.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in a manufacturing environment for extended periods.
• Frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and industrial conditions.
