Behavioral Health TherapistIt's more than a career, it's a callingMO-SSM Health DePaul Hospital - St. LouisWorker Type: PRNJob Highlights:Behavioral Health Therapist (PRN) fully onsite role focused on group therapy sessions Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM–7:00 PM, with working hours of 3:30 PM–7:30 PM and no on-call requirement.This role is ideal for a clinician with strong clinical skills and group therapy experience, who can quickly build rapport with patients and support meaningful therapeutic engagement. You'll work closely with a multidisciplinary team, communicate effectively with patients and families, and adapt to a dynamic care environment.Job Summary:Provides comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and treatment of mental, emotional, behavioral, addictive and developmental disorders and disabilities using specialized clinical knowledge and advanced clinical skills.Job Responsibilities and Requirements:PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESProvides comprehensive assessments and diagnoses using specialized clinical knowledge and advanced clinical skills for potential admission, including telehealth assessments.Develops a comprehensive, individualized treatment plan and goals for the patient and provides psychotherapy, group, and family therapy if applicable.Collaborates with other members of the multidisciplinary team, as appropriate, to develop treatment goals for the patient. May participate in multidisciplinary patient care conferences discussing information obtained from patient assessments, updates, treatment plans.Provides appropriate documentation of all pertinent information obtained in interviews, consultation with other healthcare professionals, referrals, contacts and supportive services provided to each patient.
