JOB SUMMARY As an Instructional Designer, you'll partner with business leaders, subject matter experts, and L&D team members to identify performance needs and deliver innovative learning solutions. You'll own the end-to-end instructional design process, from initial scoping to content development to delivery, creating blended learning experiences that drive measurable outcomes. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Consult with internal stakeholders to conduct learning needs assessments and define performance objectives. Design and develop engaging, scalable learning programs (e.g., instructor-led, virtual, eLearning, microlearning, performance support). Apply adult learning theory, instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM), and UX principles to create learner-centered solutions. Develop course materials including storyboards, facilitator guides, participant materials, and assessments. Leverage authoring tools (Articulate 360, Rise, Adobe Suite, etc.) to build interactive eLearning modules. Collaborate with LMS administrators to publish, track, and optimize learning content. Use data to evaluate learning effectiveness and iterate based on learner and stakeholder feedback. Balance multiple priorities and deadlines in a high-growth, agile environment. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Learning Technology, Education, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.5+ years of instructional design experience, preferably within a corporate or fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to adapt and pivot while managing multiple projects from discovery through development and delivery. Experience designing impactful, employee-focused onboarding and new hire learning experiences. Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills across a variety of learning and communication formats. Deep knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and learning best practices. Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), learning analytics, and SCORM standards and requirements. Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools and multimedia editing software. Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Portfolio required: Applicants must include a link to their instructional design portfolio on their résumé or attach a portfolio demonstrating relevant instructional design projects and work samples. Nice to Have Experience in designing for technical, field-based, and sales teams. Familiarity with agile project management methods. Exposure to video-based learning and scenario-driven simulations. Basic-to-advanced graphic or visual design skills.
