Sr. Android Developer

Android Developer Position

We are on the lookout for a skilled professional to design, build, deploy, and maintain the next generation of Android mobile applications for internal business customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in test-driven development and experience building high-performance, enterprise-grade mobile applications.

Location: Charlotte, NC

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5–7 years of Android development experience
• Proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java
• Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks like Appium
• Strong understanding of Android architecture components, MVVM/MVP, etc.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Familiar with Unit testing frameworks
• Proven ability to work in fast-paced, collaborative team environments
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced Android applications using Kotlin/Java
• Lead TDD practices to ensure robust, maintainable, and scalable code
• Collaborate with product designers and cross-functional teams to define app features
• Identify and resolve application performance bottlenecks
• Maintain and improve core codebase; deliver timely updates and enhancements
• Automate app workflows including CI/CD, test scripts, and deployments
• Ensure apps comply with internal security, usability, and performance standards
• Implement new technologies to improve application performance and user experience
