Gas Technician Assistant / Heavy Equipment Operator

to join our team in Avenal, CA!

Schedule

: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM, with the occasional Saturday work as needed. Compensation

: Starting pay is

$22-$26

: Assist our Gas Technician with duties such as pipe welding, pump installation, flare monitoring and being trained on reading other gas related equipment Checking, monitoring, cleaning, and collecting data from gas wells Clean and repair leachate or water pump by lifting and lowering 100 foot long cables Operate Dozer, Excavator, and Haul Truck to support well and pump installation Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment Provide assistance to customers and team members as required Responsibly operate a company vehicle for parts running as needed, ensuring timely and safe delivery of materials. Working Conditions

: Work is performed outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and occasional rain. The position involves physical labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. The environment may be dusty, noisy, and require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), such as hearing protection, gloves, and safety boots. There will be exposure to machinery and heavy equipment, so safety protocols and precautions are strictly followed. Minimum Job Requirements

: 2+ years of heavy equipment operating experience Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen Valid driver's license with clean record Ability to work effectively in various outdoor conditions, including exposure to weather elements, physical labor, and a dynamic work environment.
