About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of Accounting and Finance to take on a pivotal role in leading the global accounting, treasury, and financial operations for its multi-entity manufacturing business. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of activities, including consolidated reporting, cash management, AP/AR, and cost accounting within an asset-intensive environment. This leadership position demands a professional with a minimum of 15 years' progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a senior finance role at a high-volume, high-SKU, asset-intensive manufacturer. The role also requires a deep understanding of U.S. GAAP, cost accounting, treasury, and month-end close, as well as a proven track record in managing banking relationships, audits, and commercial agreements. Applicants for the Head of Accounting and Finance role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a CPA, MBA, or equivalent. Experience in a similar manufacturing environment, particularly with a focus on high-value raw materials, is essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory costing, and experience with ERP implementation or optimization in a manufacturing setting. Responsibilities also include leading the HR function, driving process improvements, and championing ERP optimization. The role is strategic, requiring the ability to partner with operations to enhance margins, manage inventory and manufacturing costs, and support decision-making around budgeting, forecasting, and international growth.
