Job Description

Seeking dedicated Aircraft Mechanics to perform organizational, intermediate, and limited depot-level maintenance. Responsibilities include inspection, operational testing, repair, modification, and troubleshooting of aircraft, components, and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on assigned aircraft.
• Repair airframe and hydraulic components.
• Conduct preflight, thru-flight, and post-flight maintenance checks.
• Service aircraft by cleaning screens and filters, greasing moving parts, and checking brakes.
• Supervise aircraft jacking and service airframe components at the line station.
• Ensure aircraft are maintained in safe operating condition.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of O level aircraft maintenance experience.
• Experience with F/5, F/15, or F/18 fighter jets, with a preference for F/5.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Skills in repair, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting of landing gear, flight control systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with military or civilian government aviation maintenance contractors is preferred.

Work Environment

Work in a hangar and backshop environment from Monday to Thursday, 6am to 4:30pm, with Fridays off. However, there may be opportunities to work on Fridays to meet production deadlines. No personal tools are required for this position.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, FL.

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $35.00/hr.
