What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and other security-related policies at an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts, supervisors, and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or visitor credentials, and document deliveries, contractor activity, and other security-related events according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear reports on incidents, observations, and/or maintenance concerns, and report hazards, equipment issues, or policy violations to appropriate personnel for follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

• An EMT certification is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
