Job Overview
- Specialty: Family Medicine
- Location: Albuquerque, NM
- Work Environment: Clinic Setting
- Start Date: As soon as credentialing is completed
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. No late shifts, no on-call duties, and no after-hours documentation.
- Patient Demographics: Comprehensive family medicine, serving patients from infants to seniors. Internal Medicine practitioners can see patients aged 18 and older, while Family Nurse Practitioners can attend to pediatric cases.
- Patient Load: 8-14 patients per shift
- Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and manage both acute and chronic health issues
- Conduct thorough physical examinations
- Create personalized treatment strategies
- Encourage wellness and preventive healthcare
- Facilitate referrals to specialists when necessary
- Order and analyze diagnostic tests
- Engage in quality improvement projects
- Electronic Medical Records: Elation
- Licensure: Must hold a valid New Mexico medical license
- On-Call Duties: None required
- Additional Information: The site operates under a genuine value-based care model, with no fee-for-service structure and no RVUs.
